Welcome! In our 30th year, the UTSA All-State Choir Camp continues to be a leader in the Texas All-State Choir preparatory process (Large School only). Outstanding clinicians from prominent Texas high school music programs along with UTSA’s own superb conductors and faculty provide an intensive study of the All-State audition music to high school campers from across the state of Texas. All students who will be in grades 9-12 in the 2025-2026 academic school year and are planning to participate in the All-State process are welcome to register to get a head start on learning their music. Choristers who are not planning to participate in the All-State process are also welcome to join for a fun few days of singing and making friends. Campers will also have the opportunity to get to know the beautiful UTSA campus, learn about life as a UTSA student, and enjoy games, a talent show and more!

WHAT TO DO THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP
Monday, June 23, 2025
We are not able to accept any early camper check-ins.
WHAT TO DO THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP
Residential campers will be able to set up their living quarters at this time and then have lunch on their own off campus. There is no lunch provided on Monday, and campus dining is closed. Residential campers must be at the UTSA Music Building by 2:00pm for Opening Ceremonies. We will provide dinner that evening for residential campers.
Should a residential camper bring a vehicle that will need to remain on campus, please know that once camp officially begins, no camper will be permitted to drive their vehicle. We strongly discourage residential campers from bringing personal vehicles. If you absolutely must bring your vehicle to campus, please add-on the parking permit during online registration.
Commuters can park in any unmarked spot in Bauerle Rd Lot 1 during check-in. Parking permits are not needed on Sunday, and you will be given yours at check-in if the option was added. No meals are provided for commuter campers on check-in day.
CAMP LIFE
The UTSA All-State Choir Camp offers a comprehensive music experience focused on developing the musician in addition to in-depth study of the Texas All-State music. At this three day camp, campers will spend time in sectionals and mixed choir rehearsals. This camp provides an opportunity for students to receive exceptional instruction in the activity that they love and to make new connections and friends from all over the state.
Each day is divided into structured routines that focus on developing musicianship with multiple breaks throughout the day for some food and fun. On check-in day, we will kick-off camp with Opening Ceremonies, and then get right to singing in sectionals. Campers will enjoy getting to know their fellow campers and counselors with fun activities, games, and social time.
Performance opportunities are also an integral part of the camp experience. Students at the UTSA All-State Choir Camp will have an opportunity to partake in a Talent Show for the rest of the campers, and perform in a final concert on Wednesday evening.
WHAT TO DO THE LAST DAY OF CAMP
Residential campers will check out, with the assistance of their counselors. Luggage will be stored in their counselor’s room for easy retrieval after camp is over.
Luggage should be packed the night before to ensure a fast check-out.
Choir Camp ends with the last General Session in the Recital Hall on Wednesday from 3:30-4:00 p.m. If parents or friends plan to attend the session, please park in Lot BR1 in any of the pay stalls. Arrive early to pay for parking. You can also park in the Bauerle Garage and pay at the kiosks there. Parking in marked spaces will be subject to a fine from the UTSA Police Department.
FINAL CONCERT
All campers will perform in a final concert on Thursday, June 26th at 4 pm. Parents, family, and friends are invited to attend this session in the UTSA Recital Hall. Immediately following, campers will walk back to the dorms with their parents to collect their belongings, after which they may depart from camp. Any items left behind will be held in the Music Office (210-458-4354) for two weeks, and thereafter donated to charity. Campers who need to depart earlier than 5:00pm must submit their request in writing before the start of camp. There is no free parking available for the concert.
PERMISSION TO LEAVE CAMPUS & EARLY DEPARTURES
Campers will not be permitted to leave camp for any reason.
If a camper must leave camp early due to medical or family emergency, a parent or legal guardian must contact the Camp Coordinator to sign the camper out.
