On-Corps
On-Corps is Military City USA’s beginning and intermediate concert and jazz band program for veterans! Under the co-direction of Retired Army SFC Juan Garcia and Retired Air Force MSgt Donald Marchand, UTSA Arts is proud to present this opportunity for a meaningful group learning experience free to all participating veterans.
- Beginning and Intermediate Concert Band for Veterans
- Rehearsals on Saturday mornings 9:00 – 11:15 at UTSA’s Main Campus
- Free to participate
- No previous musical experience required
- Instrument loans provided
- Enjoy the camaraderie of learning and playing music with your fellow veterans
- 210 Veterans Jazz Band for intermediate level players (rehearses from 11:30 – 1:00). Openings for all jazz instruments, including guitar, drumset, piano, and bass.

Location: Arts Building, UTSA Main Campus (Main Campus Map)
Parking: Free parking is available in the UTSA surface lots in Employee A, Employee B, and unmarked Commuter spaces on Saturdays.
Note: Oboe and bassoon cannot be provided, but if you own one of these instruments you would be welcome to play it.
