Our marching band student leadership camp is designed to refine and enhance current drum major skills, introduce and develop skills to potential drum majors, and refine and reinforce teaching skills for student music and marching staff.
Our goal is to train students so that they are competent and reliable where directors are confident that good work is being done from the podium and behind the scenes every day of the season.
Our staff are outstanding music educators with marching band, drum corps and drum major experience at all levels.
We believe in a high-energy, positive and reflective environment where leaders understand their role, take initiative and are trustworthy of the responsibilities they are afforded in their leadership position.
Eligible Students have completed 9th grade and are either already named as a drum major or staff member, or would like to enhance their skills to serve as a staff member in their future marching activities.
All participants should bring their primary instrument and be prepared to play during portions of the clinics.
